This article lays out the details of the force structure changes for U.S. forces in Europe. Two Brigades and a Corps headquarters will be inactivated, and several small "enabling units" will leave Europe, either inactivated or returned to the U.S.

These actions are necessary in light of the budget cuts and the policy shift of emphasis towards Asia. We'll see if the remaining forces meet the needs to build and maintain relationships, deter conflict, and project U.S. power where needed.

    Can we just kill the immensely stupid F-35 JSF and all its variants? Face it... Lockheed Martin has proven that we have the technology to make pigs to fly.
