Nazis remain a persistent problem in Germany and other parts of Europe, particularly eastern countries. They recruit young people in economically depressed areas and are working hard to present a more mainstream image. There is a strong reaction in Germany against the neo-Nazis and regular protests when they try to do something public - but the extremist right-wing problem persists, in Germany and elsewhere (see stories on Hungary's increasingly extreme right-wing government).
